Die Reise nach Litauen zur „Trakai Fanfare Week“ brachte 3 Konzerte bei großen Musikfestivals in Vilnius, Kaunas und schließlich in Trakai. Die Auftritte wurden jedes Mal mit Standing Ovations vom Publikum gefeiert.
Nicht zuletzt bildete die hervorragende Zusammenarbeit mit dem neuen musikalischen Leiter und Solisten Steven Mead eine phantastische Symbiose in Interpretation und Präsentation, die das Publikum besonders begeisterte.
Eine weitere CD-Produktion zum Jubiläum sowie Konzerte im benachbarten Ausland werden die Musiker in den nächsten Monaten neu herausfordern und ins nächste Jahrzehnt der Aktivitäten führen.

trombone....i have read youre diary about the visit in Trakai...it's very
nice, that you have so good remembers about us and our city Trakai...You,
Frits, Marius and Liudas gaved me a good kick, to go forward, never stop to
love music...and there is one thing i'll never gorget and never do as well
as you with austrian guys did...Sound in Brass...it is the sound, which
gives reason to live...(i hope i express my self understandly) Sound in
Brass it's my dream...i never thought that my dream can be truth...and that
evenin, i understand, that i now what i will seek all my life...so i want to
thank one more time, for that you gived me chance, to hear a masterly
sound...perfect sound...balanced sound...soft sound...GOOD SOUND...so i hope
that when we meet next time i will be more near thet sound like you with
austrian's demonstrate...all in all, just thanks for all you've done here at
Trakai...=)
